Despite being held online, the SCCPLS 2020 was a very interesting summer school with a diverse selection of lectures. Thanks for the very good organization and the pleasant atmosphere! I surely can recommend the summer school to other students, who are interested in colloids and polymers.

It was a nice and fruitful opportunity since all the summer schools and conferences are postponed. I am really happy and grateful that I attended this summer school. It helped me to extended some of my knowledge.

Even before starting this summer school, one can appreciate the effort of the organizer/s to create and hold this event free of charge during these COVID-19 times. Additionally, the lecturers presented very interesting topics which led to useful discussions. Finally, the exercises shared during the problem sessions were pretty challenging, what forced the students to go further and use the knowledge explained during the lessons. All this together makes me want to thank the organizer so much!

On the other side, I believe this summer school could improve by setting some break time between lessons, so that these are distributed along the day instead of being all together. It’s hard to keep full attention during four hours in an online conference.

Anyway, I would recommend everyone in my research field to join this conference next year. Thanks a lot!

I would like to thank you for the organization of these nice three days. In the context of a pandemic with many events cancelled, it was a good opportunity to attend a scientific event nonetheless. The zoom meetings were convenient and the content was great and diversified. The discussion sessions in the afternoon gave us time to think about our questions.
If I had a suggestion for future events that would be held online, I would give the opportunity for students to present an online poster. It could be simultaneous zoom meetings with only a few people allowed to access each one at a time. That would give students the opportunity to discuss their work just like in a “face-to-face” conference. The practical organization might be tricky but it would be a really nice addition.

Dear Dusko and organizers, thank you very much for the beautiful organization of this summer school. All the lectures have been really inspirational and educational for us, young scientists. Especially in this difficult period of the pandemic, such a nice event was a positive note. Special thanks to Dusko for his enthusiasm in organizing this event. Looking forward to join the next one! All the best

    Hello,
I just wanted so submit some opinions.

It would have been nice to have the lectures more spread over the day. 4h without breaks is quite a lot. I would have been more natural to maybe have
    Lecture 1
    Lecture 2
    Discussion
    + problem

    Lecture 3
    Lecture 4
    Discussion
    + problem

Also it would have been nice with discussions in smaller groups or a smaller classroom.

It would have also been nice to have some more interactive parts to keep focus. Ex voting on a question or something like that. Just listening for 4 h is quite much.
